Our Staff

Tina James

Lead Technician

Tina has been caring for our clients and our patients since September of 1997. She schedules and supervises all of our surgeries, acting as the second in command to our doctors. She keeps our clinic well organized, well supplied and  keeps our day to day operations running smoothly. When not  tending to our patients, she is a slave to her 4 cats: Nino, Elliot, Toad and Ziggy Schmutz.

Tori LeVey

Customer Service Specialist/Veterinary Assistant

A Poway resident since 1989, Tori came on board as a "perfect fit" for our clinic back in early 2008. She enjoys time with her two sons, Ronnie and Kevin. Tori is also "Mom" to her 2 dogs Willow and Orca. Tori offers an extra special service for our clients and patients...she offers pet sitting for our clients who would prefer to have their beloved pets stay at home rather than be boarded in a kennel.  Tori enjoys RV camping and traveling.

Ceceilia Castro

Ceceilia started as our client service specialist in May of 2014.  While in high school she completed a veterinary assistant program and received her certification.  She brings with her a wealth of experience from her 2 years working at Helen Woodward Animal Center in the adoption department. She is the pet parent of 3 horses, along with many well-loved cats, one of whom she adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center.  Ceceilia has a passion for anything Disney, as well as a love for her husband Dallas who proudly serves as a medic in the Army Reserves.  Cecilia is now our office manager and doing a fantastic job.

Angela Jordan

Veterinary Assistant

A former Tennessee resident, Angela moved to San Diego to further her career in Veterinary Medicine.  She joined our practice in 2014, bringing with her nearly 20 years of formal academic training and clinical experience.  She has a true

passion for animals and veterinary medicine.  In her spare time she loves to hike and go to the beach with her rescued shelter dog, Joshua (an American Pit Bull Terrier) whom has earned his Canine Good Citizenship Award as well as being a Certified Service Dog.

Hospital Cat and Greeter

We adopted Mittens in 2006 while recovering from the loss of our two beloved cats, Chloe and Puffy who both passed away in 2005. Like all good cat greeters she hangs out near our "dog lobby". She comes down off her perch on a regular basis to annoy the reception staff. Her main goal in life is to lie on her perch in the sun or watch the birds that play outside our big picture window.
